Daylight during the polar night is short, but in the south of the district it does manage to rise above the horizon for a few hours. As such, the day never comes, and the magical dawn is replaced by the somber sunset, giving the chance to enjoy the purple twilight for nearly four hours.
The bitter frost wading from within, creates the mystery of the Northern Lights during the nights.
