How is created the biggest layout of Moscow

In Moscow continues the work on the new layout of the city, which should be completed in 2017 and will be the largest in the world – its area is 950 square meters. A small part of the layout is ready and on display in one of the pavilions of ENEA. Moscow finished layout will include areas within the Third Ring Road, as well as the territory of the Vorobyovy Hills, Moscow State University with high-rise and industrial zone “ZIL”. ExploreRussia.org visited the exhibition at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements, and a workshop on the 2nd Brest, which creates the layout of Moscow.

In the finished part of the layout (area of only 70 square meters), which is on display at the Exhibition Center, Moscow Center presented within the Boulevard Ring.
Christ the Savior Cathedral. Ready part of the layout. The river, also, looks very natural – if veiled water ripples. This effect it obtained thanks to the adhesive composition that is applied strokes on plexiglass.

According to experts, modelers: the most time-consuming for them has become objects of skyscraper on Tinkers embankment – because of the abundance of architectural elements, as well as the building of the Historical Museum on Red Square because of the complex topography of facades.
Maquette workshop. Above the layout has a team of 80 artists, architects, graphic artists, and students of architectural and graphic colleges. They prepare drawings of buildings, create terrain, cut plastic models, paint the house, spend the backlight. The layout of the collected “squares”, each of which is numbered.

The bridge across the Moscow River illuminated roadway. Inside a lot of electrics, but visitors will only see the glow of the road.
Switching wiring. Every building on the layout is highlighted and can be switched on separately – only need to enter the address. Masters are also working on a street lighting system. On major transport arteries of the city (flying highways, Sadovoye Ring, etc.) will be “set” lights cool white light for the roadway and yellow – to the pedestrian. The size of the LEDs used in the lamp – 1×1 mm.

Trees are made of wire and decorate specific sawdust. A model as in real city trees are of different species.
Finished trees set on the layout – on the streets and in parks. After the installation of powder and green spaces is carried out the final cleaning of the streets with a vacuum cleaner.
The model is updated as development of the city. All the objects that will be built before 2017, will be constructed and installed on a breadboard. After 2017 the layout will be regularly updated to reflect the buildings under construction.
